Data Deletion Instructions
Last updated: 20 October 2026
This page explains how to have your data removed from ReplyMe, including data received through Facebook Messenger and Instagram.
1. If you are a business that connected a Facebook Page or Instagram account
You can remove the connection and the data it produced yourself, at any time:
- Sign in at https://replymeapp.io and open Channels (চ্যানেল) in the dashboard menu.
- Choose Disconnect next to the Facebook Page or Instagram account. ReplyMe deletes the stored access token straight away, unsubscribes the Page from our webhooks and stops all automated replies.
- To delete conversations, contacts, leads, knowledge base content and the workspace itself, write to us as described in section 3.
You can also revoke ReplyMe's access from Facebook directly: Settings and privacy, Settings, Business integrations (or Apps and websites), find ReplyMe and choose Remove. Instagram: Settings, Website permissions, Apps and websites. Revoking access stops new data reaching us; to have the data already stored deleted, follow section 3.
2. If you messaged or commented on a business that uses ReplyMe
Your messages and comments are held for that business, which decides what is kept. Ask the business to delete your conversation, or write to us at hello@replymeapp.io with the name of the Page or Instagram account you contacted and your Facebook or Instagram name. We will pass the request to the business and delete the data from our systems once it confirms, or ourselves if it cannot be reached.
3. Asking us to delete data
Email hello@replymeapp.io with the subject “Delete my data”, from the address registered on your account, or from any address if you are an end customer, and tell us the Page or Instagram account concerned. We acknowledge within 7 working days and complete deletion within 30 days.
Deleted: conversations, messages, contacts, leads, orders, knowledge base content, uploaded files and channel tokens. Backups are overwritten on their normal cycle, within 90 days. We may keep the minimum records the law requires, such as payment invoices.
